Tutoring for the LOTE Spanish

Are you taking the LOTE Spanish exam soon?  As you probably know, it's a very rigorous exam.  It will test your knowledge of Spanish reading and listening comprehension, speaking and writing proficiency, and foreign language pedagogy (how to teach a foreign language).  In addition, you will have to answer questions about grammar in Spanish, and respond to questions about the culture and literature of different Spanish speaking countries.

Test Day Information

Do's and Don't's at the Test Center

Do: 

• Arrive at least 30 minutes early
• Bring a light jacket
• Take at least 2 forms of valid (not expired) identification
• Make sure your name on your admission ticket matched your ID
• Take your admission ticket (you may print it from your ETS account)

Don't:

• Take your cell phone- you can be dismissed
• Show up late
• Take lots of breaks
• Make noise or talk during the exam

You do not need to bring pencils or paper.  The test proctor will provide you with scratch paper and pencils, but keep in mind you only receive credit for the answers you record on the computer.
